Ways To Increase Hemoglobin


Hemoglobin refers to a kind of protein in the red blood cells of the human body which does the job of carrying oxygen.It is very important for an individual to have appropriate level of hemoglobin,so as to remain healthy & energetic.
Home remedies do not have side effects,following are few effective ways to increase hemoglobin.

1. When taking iron food,always take vitamin C alongside.This facilitates the absorption of iron.
2. Soak 2-3 dates in water at night & next day in morning consume it with milk or water.
3. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables like spinach,mint,methi etc.
4. Make a habit of using gur instead of sugar,as gur is a good source of iron.
5. Apricots,dates, raisins,cashew nuts,soya,sesame seeds etc are also rich sources of iron.
6. Increase the intake of vitamin C also,so consume fruits like guava,lime,oranges,aavla etc.
7. Cook 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds with your evening meal every night,preferably with rice for 2-3 weeks,it helps to increase your hemoglobin level.
8. Beetroot is believed to be an age old effective option.It can be consumed in any form especially as a drink.
9. Bananas are also quite beneficial in increasing the level of hemoglobin.Eat ripe bananas as they are rich in iron.
10. Honey is also an effective option,as it is known to be an ideal natural cure for anemia.
11.Mix soya bean flour & wheat flour to make chapatis.
12. Consume freshly sprouted pulses,it can be consumed with salads too.
13. Consume rice flakes(Poha) as they are good source of iron.
14. It is also important to reduce consuming tea,coffee,cigarettes & alcohol,since all of them inhibit absorption of iron in the body.
