Mysore Masala Dosa



Mysore masala dosa is simply a thin paper dosa.Red chutney is one thing that makes mysore masala dosa different from other masala dosas.Red chutney adds a beautiful flavor & spice.

Ingredients:-
Dosa batter & potato stuffing(as required for simple masala dosa)
1 Capsicum (finely chopped)
1 Onion (chopped)
1/4 Cup grated carrot
5-6 Dried red chillies or adjust according to your taste
5 Garlic flakes
1/2 inch ginger piece
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/2 Cup split roasted channa dal (bengal gram)
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste

How To Make Red Chutney:-
Soak red chilies in a cup of water for about 3-4 hours.
Take red chilies,garlic,ginger,roasted cumin powder,chana dal & salt & grind them to make a thick paste by adding required water.
Remove it in a bowl & add lemon juice & mix well

How To Make Dosas:-
1. Heat a pan,sprinkle 2-3 drops of oil & wipe it with a wet cloth.
2. Take the dosa batter & spread it in a pan in a desired shape.
3. Drizzle oil all around the dosa.
4. Cook on just one side only,when dosa is done apply a coat of red chutney all over the dosa.
5. Spread the stuffing of potatoes all over the dosa.
6. Spread some chopped capsicum,onion & carrot.
7. When the bottom starts getting crispy,fold the dosa into half & serve it with sambar & coconut chutney.
