Sabudana Khichdi


Ingredients:-
11/2 Cup Sabudana
1/2 Cup roasted peanuts
1 large boiled potato (cut into small cubes)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp red chili powder
8-10 curry leaves
1 Chopped green chili
Few chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil

Method:-
1.Wash sabudana thoroughly & drain out the excess water.Soak it for 5-6 hours.
2. Sabudana grains should be separate & moist.
3. Take sabudana,mix red chili powder,sugar & lemon juice into this.
4. Make a coarse powder of peanuts in a mortar-pestle or in grinder.
5. Heat oil in a pan,add green chili,cumin seeds & curry leaves into it.
6. Add potato & saute for a min or 2.
7. Add salt,now add sabudana.
8. Mix well, sprinkle some water & cook for 5 min.
9. Make sure to stir so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
10.Garnish with coriander leaves & its ready to serve.
