Vegetable Manchurian


Vegetable manchurian is a popular combination of  the Indian and Chinese cuisines.It is normally eaten as an evening snack accompanied with noodles or steamed rice.

So lets start with its Ingredients,

For Manchurian Balls :-
* Grated vegetables (cauliflower,carrot) -3 cups
* Capsicum finely chopped - 1/2 cup
* Green chilly finely chopped - 1
* Milk -2 tsp
* Maida - 3 tbsp
* Corn flour - 1 tbsp
* Black pepper -1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
* Oil - For deep frying

For Sauce/Gravy :-
* Oil 3 tbsp
* Ginger finely grated - 1tsp
* Garlic finely chopped - 8-9 flakes
* Spring onions finely chopped - 2
* Soya sauce -2 tbsp
* Tomato sauce -1 tbsp
* Green chilli sauce - 1 tsp
* Vinegar - 1 tsp
* Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
* Corn flour - 2 tbsp
* Salt as per your need

How To Make Balls :-
* Mix grated vegetables & squeeze the water out from it
* Take the vegetables in a bowl,add corn flour,black pepper,maida,salt & milk to it
* Make small balls with this mixture
* Heat oil & deep fry the balls till golden brown
   We can add 1 or 2 tbsp more maida to the balls as per our need

How To Make Sauce :-
* Heat oil,add ginger,garlic to it
* Add onion,saute it for few min
* Now add soya sauce,tomato sauce,chili sauce,salt,black pepper to it
* Add 1/2 cup of water to it & bring it to a boil
* Add fried balls to it & cook for 2-3 min
* Mix 2 tbsp of corn flour with 1/2 cup of water & mix into it,stir it well
* Cook for another 2-3 min,add vinegar & off the gas
   Now our vegetable manchurian is ready to serve.
